The Van Winkle Insurance Group opened its doors in 1958 on the corner of Colby Ave. and California Ave. in Everett, Washington. Headed by local Insurance powerhouse Arthur Larson, we quickly grew to become the premier insurance agency in the Everett, Washington area. Arthur Larson had a vision to bring the best product and service into one door, treat every client like family, and to always take care of the Everett community.

With Mr. Larson’s dedication and guidance, we quickly out grew our 1 room office and moved into the Minor and Jones Building in Downtown Everett. Mr. Larson’s business sense and guidance earned the trust and respect of several other Washington Insurance Professionals. One such professional was Ferdinand Hall, who came to work at the agency in 1975 and was named CEO in 1984. Quickly following the retirement of our founder Arthur Larson, Mr. Hall recruited the assistance of Ralph Van Winkle to co-manage the agency. From 1984 until 1992, Van Winkle Insurance Group became the premier independent insurance agency throughout western Washington.

In 1993 Ralph Van Winkle became Chairman and CEO and he quickly molded our business model from Insurance Agency to Insurance Brokerage Firm, allowing the Van Winkle Insurance Group to provide a larger selection of insurance products with the best value. In 1996 we had to expand our office space yet again and moved to our current North Lynnwood offices where today we remain a leader of insurance products and a dedicated member of our community.More than just insurance, we focus on you – Ralph Van Winkle
